Why We Started Hammer Down
Hammer Down Roofing was built from scratch — no corporate backing, no franchise playbook. Joe has spent decades general contracting in this area, and together we're combining that hands-on experience with real business and marketing know-how to build something our community can actually rely on. We started this because we're local, and because Joe genuinely wants to help people do right by their homes.
We started this company because homeowners deserve a roofing contractor who tells them the truth — even when the truth is "you don't need a new roof yet." That's the whole idea behind the name: nail it down, build it right, and never recommend more than a roof actually needs.
We're not the cheapest roofing company in St. Charles County. We aim to be the most trustworthy one.

Samantha runs the day-to-day of Hammer Down — admin, marketing, scheduling, and making sure every homeowner who calls gets treated like a person, not a lead number. She built this company's foundation from zero, and she's usually the first voice you'll hear.

Joe brings 36+ years of hands-on building and roofing experience to every estimate. He personally assesses roofs, works alongside the crews, and has spent years working real insurance claims — hands-on proficient with Xactimate, the same software insurance adjusters use.
